Would you like the good news or the bad news first? wink There is a 4 MBit connection to the Internet. But to quote I. from the mailing list: "The university is about to take our wireless link OFF for this 3 days... Unless we can guarantee that everyone will behave, and we can't, can we?".

So for now, before the meeting, you can access the Internet from the Hacklab. And as I understood there will be at least an ISDN link during the meeting.

Internet connectivity provided, though social interaction and human contact prevailed.

I set up one of the Linksys WLAs. It gives MAC address restricted access to the Internet. It's located in the Hacklab near the window, so you should see it from the car park. The MAC address based protection is only temporary I hope, but it should do the job for now. Ask Edgar or me (BuckRogers? ) to put your MAC address into the list of allowed PCs.
